Liquid Face Lift – A Face Lift Without Surgery?

Do you look in the mirror and think you don’t look good for your age anymore? If you are not ready for a surgical face lift then you may want to consider a liquid face lift without the surgery. The Liquid Face Lift is a non-surgical procedure to restore facial volume to the lower face and soften lines on the forehead and around the eyes. The procedure uses dermal fillers and neuromodulators to give a subtle lift; relax fine lines and wrinkles; and restore volume for a youthful look.

As we age and lose facial volume, the contour of our face changes. Both men and women may feel as though they look tired or older for their age. The noticeable changes in the lower face include sagging along the jawline, less fullness in the apples of the cheeks, and fine to heavy lines or creases around the mouth. The changes in the upper face include heavy eyes, crow’s feet, deep creases between the brows, and fine to heavy horizontal lines across the forehead.

What Products Are Used For A Liquid Face Lift?

Dermal fillers are often referred to as soft tissue fillers.  They are gel-like substances designed to be injected beneath the surface of the skin to add volume and fullness. FDA approved dermal fillers include Juvederm, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Vollure, Volbella, Voluma, Radiesse, and Sculptra for restoring volume and contour to the face and jawline.

Neuromodulators are FDA products used to treat moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines.  The FDA approved neuromodulator products include Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport.

What is a Lower Liquid Face Lift?

A Lower Liquid Face Lift addresses these areas of the lower face:

  • Nasolabial folds (creases between the side of the nose and cheek)
  • Marionette lines of “parentheses” around the mouth
  • Oral Commissures (downturn at the corners of the mouth)
  • Lips and lip lines
  • Pre-Jowl along the jawline

What is a Full Face Liquid Face Lift?

A Full Face Liquid Face Lift addresses these areas of the full face:

  • Nasolabial folds (creases between the side of the nose and cheek)
  • Marionette lines of “parentheses”
  • Oral Commissures (downturn at the corners of the mouth)
  • Lips and lip lines
  • Pre-Jowl along the jawline
  • Lower cheek fullness
  • Upper cheek fullness
  • Temporal fullness
  • Relaxation of muscles on forehead, crow’s feet, and frown lines

Can I Treat Only One Area?

Yes, one area to full face may be treated during your appointment.  Your practitioner will meet with you during the consultation and address your areas of concern.

Is There Downtime?

Typically there is no downtime.  The most common side effects may be bruising, tenderness, or mild swelling at the injection site(s). Common side effects usually resolve within a couple of hours to a couple of days.
