The cosmetic enhancement of brows, eyeliner and lips
Permanent Makeup is also called permanent cosmetics, micro-pigmentation, or cosmetic tattoo. Extremely tiny amounts of natural pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin. The result is permanent makeup which can last several years.
Who is a candidate for permanent makeup?
Men and women of all color and skin types who want to look their best all the time. Permanent makeup is perfect for busy people who don’t want to spend too much time each day applying makeup; for people with light, sparse lashes or eyebrows; for people who are physically active or have oily skin that sheds makeup easily; for people who have sensitive eyes or do not see well; or for people who desire more defined brows, lips or eyes.
What is the cost for a consultation?
There is no fee for a consultation. Cathy Wasmund, our Permanent Makeup Artist, will meet with you, explain the procedure in detail, select colors, shape, and apply temporary color so you will have a true sense of what your results will be.
How long does the procedure take?
What is the recovery time?
You can return to work immediately after the procedure. Expect minimum swelling for brows and eyeliner, if any. Lips tend to swell a little more. The color will look 20% to 30% stronger than the final result. You will be scheduled to return in 4-6 weeks for final touch up to secure pigment for long lasting results.
Is it safe?
Yes. We use proper sanitation and sterilization techniques to ensure your safety.
May I choose color and shape?
Yes, nothing is done without your approval. Our experienced Permanent Makeup Artist, Cathy Wasmund, has over 20 years experience and will recommend the best color and style for your facial features and personal preferences. We have a large variety of colors from which all different shades of colors can be customized.
What if I want to change the color after the procedure?
Permanent makeup works to enhance your natural beauty so that you look good all the time. You can always apply conventional makeup over the permanent makeup for a new look.
Is it painful?
We strive in assuring a painless experience by using excellent pain management techniques. Topical anesthetic ointment is applied prior to and during each procedure. Some clients may experience a mild stinging feeling at most.
