Facials

A facial cleans, exfoliates and nourishes the skin to promote clear, well-hydrated skin.

A facial involves a few basic steps:
  • Cleansing
  • Skin analysis
  • Exfoliation, with retinol, glycolic, lactic or enzyme peel
  • Extraction
  • Facial massage to relax you and stimulate your skin and facial muscles
  • Treatment mask with steam targeted to your skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive, mature.)
  • Application of toners and protective creams
  • Advice on home skin care

How Often Should I Get A Facial?
Ideally, get a facial every four to six weeks because that's how long it takes the skin to regenerate. Try to have a facial at least four times a year, as the season changes. You may need it more frequently if you are trying to clear up a case of acne, especially at the beginning.
Message from the Aesthetician:
Often times when you feel that your products are no longer working for you, it’s time for a facial.  Dead skin cells accumulate and congest our pores not allowing for proper absorption of product. A facial decongests pores, promotes active skin cell rejuvenation, and helps promote absorption of product into the skin more effectively.

Facials are also an essential treatment for keeping your skin at a normal pH level.  If your skin is too oily or too dry, a facial will normalize the facial pH level, decrease the activity of oil production and increase hydration. So, the next time you feel very dry or oily…there’s no need to apply excessive amounts of product…treat yourself to an hour and a half of total facial rejuvenation!
